Fur-eezing! Jennifer Lopez shows off her killer legs in leggings as she bundles up in a hooded winter coat for gym trip

She routinely delivers high-energy performances packed with impressive choreography.

And on Tuesday morning pop star Jennifer Lopez proved that all that dancing does a body good as she showed off her perfect pins while headed to the gym in New York. 

The 47-year-old had her sculpted legs on fine display in a pair of spray-on leggings and wrapped up warm in a black jumper with the word LOVE spelled in cream-coloured capitals.

The Waiting For Tonight hit-maker banished the icy wind with a plush winter coat, which skimmed her thighs and included a luxurious fur lining, and a fabulously furry hood, which kept her warm while also affording her a degree of anonymity.

J. Lo pounded the pavement in a pair of on-trend utility boots, which gave the 5ft 5in stunner a bit more height while adding even more edge to her funky winter outfit. 

Her coat featured a long silver zip up the front and two very deep pockets, which the mother-of-two used to keep her hands warm ahead of her workout.

After her morning exercise session, she left the gym wearing a pair of neon orange Nike trainers with matching shoestrings and white soles. 

The Bronx-born beauty may have been squeezing exercise in ahead of Tuesday night's U.S. presidential election results and one of the star-studded viewing parties that will take place as the results roll in. 

In recent months Jennifer, who is of Puerto Rican descent, has thrown her weight behind Hillary Clinton by frequently encouraging Latino voters to rally behind her at the polls.

On Monday she made a final appeal, uploading a short video to Instagram that attracted more than 1.7 million views within 24 hours. 

Speaking to her 54 million followers, she said: 'Florida! This place is very special to me. This year 27 million Latinos will be eligible to vote. So that means we have a powerful voice and will impact this election.

'We must show up and vote! Don’t let me down. Let’s show that we’re with her.' 

Swing state realness: Jennifer, who is of Puerto Rican descent, has worked hard to encourage Latino voters to get out and support Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. At the end of October she performed at a special concert in support of the former First Lady in Miami

At the end of October, Jennifer and her ex-husband Marc Anthony, who shares her Puerto Rican heritage, performed at a special concert for Hillary at the Bayfront Park Amphitheater in Miami.

Doing her part to inspire the audience, the Gigli actress slid into a typically showstopping outfit, comprised of a black satin robe with a hem at mid-thigh. 

The former First Lady, 69, joined them onstage and embraced the Out Of Sight star and her erstwhile partner, 48. 

Following the concert, the Miami Herald reported that whilst onstage, Hillary took the opportunity to encourage voters to hit the polls early. 

According to the paper, she said: 'We just heard Jennifer perform "Let’s Get Loud." Well, I say: "Let’s Get Loud" at the voting booth. You can vote early. Don’t wait another day to vote.'
