Kourtney Kardashian, 37, loves Manuka honey, and not just in her tea - though she does like it in her tea.

On a new episode of Amazon's Style Code Live, the eldest Kardashian sister waxed poetic on the condiment, which differs from raw honey in that it's derived from manuka trees found exclusively in New Zealand and has stronger anti-bacterial properties.

Fittingly, Kourtney serves as ambassador for the skincare line Manuka Doctor, but her love for the ingredient blossomed well before the brand welcomed her on board last April.

Oh, honey! On a recent episode of Amazon's Style Code Live, Kourtney Kardashian, 37, said that she uses Manuka honey for everything from warding off colds to moisturizing her skin

Speaking to host Frankie Grande, Kourtney revealed that she first discovered Manuka honey after noticing the crew of Keeping Up With the Kardashians eating it by the spoonful.

'I was like, "Why are you guys always eating this honey?" And they would always say, "Because so and so is sick and we don’t want to get sick." After I had Mason, I stopped taking medicine, I just changed my lifestyle and felt like I wanted the most natural things that I could find and so I became really into Manuka honey.'

In addition to taking a dose when she feels a cold coming on, the health-conscious reality star blends it into her morning shake along with avocado and almond milk.

'We just discovered that you could do the shake as a mask too and put it on your hair. Mix the avocado and honey,' she said.

To keep her hair sleek and healthy she also employs coconut oil and products from her and her siblings' Kardashian Beauty line.

To get her long hair pin straight for the interview, she used the brand's Black Seed Dry Oil.

'It gives it the smoothness and the shine. You can’t really have flyaways and have this straight hair for it to look like silk, you know?' she said.

Generating buzz: The reality star was tapped as skincare brand Manuka Doctor's ambassador back in April

Keeping up with her skin health: Kourtney revealed that she nourishes her eye area at night with a blend of two Manuka honey-infused products from Manuka Doctor

Manuka honey, which can be used to heal acne, prevent signs of aging and to hydrate and repair skin, has a starring role in Kourtney's beauty routine too, in the form of Manuka Doctor products.

Her must-haves from the line are the Replenishing Facial Oil and the Brightening Facial Oil

'I use them both pretty equally and I use them every night, like under my eyes and on my eye lids. And then I’ll rub it on my hands and bring it down [to the décolleté area],' she said on Style Code Live.

The brand's Hydrating Facial Cleanser is also a staple in her nighttime routine. After using a face oil and a hot wash cloth to gently remove make-up, she cleanses, tones and finishes with a serum.

The interview is set to stream on amazon.com on Thursday, November 10 at 9PM/EST.
