Collection and use of consumer information
For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes only the consumer's domain name, but not the e-mail address (where possible).
We collect only the domain name, but not the e-mail address of visitors to our Web page, aggregate information on what pages consumers' access or visit, information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations.

Customer email lists: collection, usage and preference options
By supplying NFPA with your email address (while creating an account on our website, placing an order on-line or through our call center, requesting catalog or other information, or during an NFPA hosted event, etc.), we will use that email address for NFPA marketing solicitations and electronic newsletter deployments. You can opt-out of these electronic communications at anytime by following the instructions in our emails or by logging into your on-line NFPA profile and visiting the email preference page. In addition to the emails just described, all NFPA Members, as part of their member benefits, receive NFPA Journal Update and other Member information. From time to time, we make the email addresses of those who register on our site available to other reputable organizations whose products and services we think you might find interesting. For sponsored training events, we may also provide your email address to the event sponsor(s). From time to time, NFPA may make its customer lists available to other reputable organizations whose products or services you might find interesting.
