'Miss you so much': Brooklyn Beckham pays tribute to his beloved late nan with a sweet throwback snap

They're one of the most tight-knit families in showbiz.

And Brooklyn Beckham paid a touching tribute to his late great-grandmother, Peggy West, with a heart warming throwback picture on Wednesday.

The aspiring photographer, 17, treated his 8.7 million Instagram followers to a candid shot of his childhood memories with his beloved nan, who passed away in 2013.

'Miss you so much': Brooklyn Beckham, 17, took to social media to pay tribute to his late great grandmother, Peggy West, with a heart warming throwback picture on Wednesday 

The teen shared a sweet snap of himself as a baby perched on his nan's knee, while she held him lovingly.

Brooklyn captioned the shot: 'Miss you nan so much. X miss your bacon sandwiches.. can't believe it's been 3 years.'

Brooklyn's football star father David, 41, paid an equally touching tribute to his grandmother with a picture of her accompanying him to his OBE ceremony at Buckingham Palace in 2003.

The former Manchester United ace wrote: 'This day 3 years ago I lost my Grandma someone so strong and so special to us...'

'This picture was one of the proudest days of my life for someone that loved the royal family as much as she did I was able to take her and my grandad with me to the palace to receive my OBE... We miss her every single day,' he continued. 

The former England midfielder's grandmother reportedly suffered a stroke and passed away in the early hours of November 9th 2013 aged 85.

At the time a source close to the Beckham family told the Sunday People newspaper: 'He is absolutely devastated. He and Peggy were very close.'

David is currently in Shanghai, China, promoting his alcohol brand, Haig Club Whisky, after a whistle stop trip to Tokyo, Japan.

It was the footballers second trip to Tokyo in five weeks.

He was there in September with best friend David Gardner, when he played in a charity football match to help raise money for victims of the Kumamoto earthquakes. 

Meanwhile, Brookyln has been keeping busy following his breakup from actress Chloe Moretz, as he has been spotted alongside a string of beautiful ladies.

The teenage heartthrob enjoyed a late night stroll with Justin Beiber's former flame Sofia Richie earlier this month, and was later spotted on a lunch date with model Kim Turnbull.

The model is the granddaughter of celebrated artist William Turnbull, who is considered one of the leading artists of the post-war generation owing to his subtle style which set him apart from his contemporaries.
