Victoria's Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio proves she's runway-ready in sizzling bikini-clad snaps as she holidays with friends in Dubai

She's preparing for her 17th time down the Victoria's Secret runway, this month.

And practise very much seemed to make perfect as Alessandra Ambrosio enjoyed a relaxing pre-show holiday in Dubai this week.

Relishing the calm before the inevitable storm, the mother of two slipped into a teeny bikini to show off her model credentials in full for her many followers.

Bikini babe: Alessandra Ambrosio was sharing pictures from her idyllic holiday in Dubai on Tuesday

Despite spending a few days relaxing at the beach, Alessandra hopped straight over to Hong Kong on Tuesday to continue her adventure.

She will soon be destined for Paris, France where the lingerie brand is hosting its annual catwalk show.

Due for her 17th appearance as a model, the 35-year-old shared a sneak peek at her costume with E! news last week. 

'I love the colours,' she said, describing an exquisite winged costume with teal lingerie.

'It's from the segment called The Road Ahead, and it's all [about] exotic places. It has beautiful colors from all over the world, very exotic. I got beautiful yellow feathers with sparkles in it, and this beautiful green jewellery.'

She also teased, 'Lots of gold and beautiful elements' for the holiday show, which is due to air in December.

This year's show will feature fellow models Adriana Lima, Stella Maxwell, Lily Aldridge and Martha Hunt.

Other newcomers for this year's show include Bella Hadid, Dilone and Georgia Fowler.

While Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner will be walking the show for the second year in a row.

Jasmine Tookes was chosen to wear this year's coveted Fantasy Bra, which is worth $3 million.

Aside from modelling, Alessandra seemed to be giving it her best 'Bond Girl' at the weekend, when she was seen emerging from the sea with her friends, on her travels.

She has taken to Instagram and Snapchat to document the vacation.

In one of the more eyebrow raising snaps, she could he seen seductively making her exit from the ocean much like the iconic scene featuring Ursula Andress from 1962 James Bond flick Dr. No.

Alessandra proudly put her svelte model figure on display as she emerged from the water in a skimpy patterned bikini. 

She was rocking her own clothing line as she captioned the image: 'Ale by Alessandra Bond style.'
