Make-up free Christina Milian shows off her legs in cutoff shorts while out and about in Los Angeles

Christina Milian was met with blisteringly hot weather when she headed out in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Yet the 35-year-old was ready, wearing a summery outfit that included a pair of frayed cutoff denim shorts.

The Say I singer had opted for what appeared to be almost no makeup as she headed to her car.

A day out: On Wednesday, Christina Milian was spotted enjoying a stroll in Los Angeles

Her hair was slicked back severely and trammelled into a ponytail, and she held a pair of pink sunglasses in one hand.

The mother-of-one's blue and white top was rolled up to the shoulder, its hem sliding upward to betray the only the faintest hint of midriff.

She rounded out her ensemble with a pair of black and white trainers and a patterned grey handbag.

Au naturel: The 35-year-old appeared to have worn very little makeup

Last Wednesday, the Jersey City native had swung by Latina Magazine's 20th anniversary bash in honour of its 'Hollywood Hot List' at STK Los Angeles.

Whilst strolling the red carpet, she dished to TooFab about her six-year-old daughter Madison and any potential desire she might have to venture into show business.

'Who knows!' she said. 'With me I knew what I wanted early on and I wanted this from the early stages in my career. I think it's all about the kids and helping build guidance for them and guiding them in the right direction without all the pressure. Helping them recognise their dreams.'

The Us Against The World singer had reached the conclusion that 'If she wants to do it I'll do it! I'll go behind her and help her out, but we'll take our time.'

Destined for success: On the red carpet at Latina Magazine's 20th anniversary bash last week, she'd told TooFab that, regarding show business: 'With me I knew what I wanted early on and I wanted this from the early stages in my career'
