And Liam Payne appeared to have taken a thinly-veiled swipe at all the online speculation when he shared a cryptic post on social media on Tuesday night.

The 23-year-old singer uploaded an image of a street sign reading 'Liam Ln, private', alongside the caption, 'Stay in your lane'.

Liam's fans were quick to weigh in on the post, showing him love and support.

Rumours first began to swirl when Cheryl's mother was seen shopping for pregnancy items at Mothercare earlier this year.

The singer then appeared at the L'Oreal Paris party during Paris Fashion Week sporting a happier, healthier and fuller appearance than ever before.

She has since been spotted on numerous occasions with a sizeable bump visible underneath her clothing, as she returns to the limelight after a few weeks under the radar - promoting her new perfume and appearing on The One Show last week.

Cheryl added fuel to the pregnancy speculation as she insisted on sitting down during a meet and greet with fans two weeks ago.

In unseen images from the event, the 33-year-old singer seemed intent on concealing her tummy as she signed autographs at the Boots launch for her new fragrance, StormFlower, in London.

The Mirror reported: 'She decided against answering questions from the press and posed for a photo instead.'

According to the Boots website, the new fragrance has bold top notes of Bergamot and Lemon which ignite in the opening moments.

'Whilst notes of peach bring an indulgent softness. Rose intertwines with Sage and honeyed Orange Flower in a floral and powdery heart.

'Musks and Cedarwood evoke an enveloping base, parting with warm notes of Ambrox.'

Cheryl and her ex husband Jean-Bernard were granted a decree nisi in just 14 seconds last Thursday morning, after the songstress allegedly knew after five months the marriage was over.

The duo wed in secret in summer 2014 after a three-month romance yet their union came to an end with their ill-fated marriage ended in just 14 seconds where neither party was in attendance.

Their divorce comes 10 months after their separation was announced. It also marks a year since they were last seen in public together last October.

The couple had been married for just 18 months but living apart for five months by the turn of 2016, splitting on their secret second wedding anniversary.

Cheryl is moving on from her second marriage after finding love again with Liam - as she proceeds with changing her surname

A representative of Cheryl's confirmed to MailOnline: 'It is in the process of being changed' - although it is not know what name the singer, 33, will go by in the future.
