Amy Schumer wants fans to know she is not planning on leaving the country following Donald Trump's election victory.

The comedienne and actress, 35, said she'd made the comment 'in jest' while giving an interview in London.

And for those who were telling her to hurry up and leave the U.S., she wrote on her Instagram Wednesday: 'Anyone saying pack your bags is just as disgusting as anyone who voted for this racist homophobic openly disrespectful woman abuser.'

Schumer, a passionate supporter of Hillary Clinton for president, looked downcast as she stepped out in NYC this morning.

She wore a rain jacket with the hood up and sunglasses as she headed to the gym in athletic leggings and wedge-heeled lace-up ankle boots.

She shared with her fans that she was 'grieving today.'

'My heart is in a million pieces. My heart breaks for my niece and my friends who are pregnant bringing children into the world right now. Like everyone else I am horrified that people believed these bumper sticker slogans filled with hate he spewed,' she wrote on Instagram.

The Trainwreck star lambasted Trump supporters for having 'no clue' and praised Clinton for dedicating 'her entire life to public service.'

'He didn't pay his workers. Started a fake college. Ripped people off. Never paid his taxes and sexually assaulted women and on and on She would have taken care of us,' Schumer said.

'Yelling about emails you know nothing about and not liking her clothes or her hair she wanted to protect you even you. Well you've gotten what you asked for and now you can watch the sky open up. Literally,' she went on. 

'I am furious. I cry for her and for all the smart people I love who know what's right and I cry for you people who fell for shiny hats and reality catch phrases. She would have protected you. Today we grieve tomorrow we begin again.'

Her somber mood Wednesday was a 360 degree turnaround from just hours earlier when she's posed for pictures with other high profile Clinton supporters including Lady Gaga and Billie Jean King.

She'd been preparing to celebrate the election of America's first female president and had earlier Tuesday smiled broadly as she headed to cast her vote dressed in a gray jumpsuit and jaunty green headband.
