She was the humble assistant to a fashion editor in The Devil Wears Prada. 

But Anne Hathaway had found a lackey of her own to help her avoid the rain, as she was spotted for the first time on the Oceans Eight set on Wednesday.

The 33-year-old was sheltered from the storm in NYC by a giant umbrella, which was carried by an assistant.

The brunette beauty kept her long straight tresses dry, and covered her eyes with dark glasses as she got ready to film scenes for the all-female Ocean’s Eleven spin-off.

The Les Mis star kept comfy with black Ugg boots and slouchy trousers. 

She looked well-prepared for some last minute script revisions, as she clutched a piece of paper and a pen.

Anne Hathaway was spotted on the set of Ocean's Eight looking pretty laid back in a hooded sweater and sweatpants. She finished off her ensemble with a pair of Ugg boots and dark sunnies.

It's her first appearance on the set, and comes after she shared her response to the election results after revealing that she voted for Hillary Clinton.

Anne took to her Instagram to share The Prayer of St. Francis, which encourages peace in times of darkness and doubt.

She had consistently lent her name and fame to the cause as she performed last month at Stronger Together: Broadway for Hillary.

Anne's co-stars, Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett were also spotted on the New York set of the highly-anticipated film that same day.

The Oscar winner is joining an all-female powerhouse line-up which also includes Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling and rapper Awkwafina.

The Gary Ross-directed film is set to be released on June 8, 2018.
