Jose Mourinho has had very little to cheer about in recent weeks after two FA charges resulted in a touchline ban, but the Manchester United manager enjoyed a jovial moment prior to his side's win at Swansea.

Mourinho was forced to watch from the stands in south Wales as United moved up to sixth in the Premier League, but he showed he meant business prior to kick-off by putting a local freestyler in his place.

The Swans supporter, known as Ash 'Scoop' Randall, often gets in early at the Liberty Stadium on matchdays to welcome both sets of players as they make their way to the changing rooms along the side of the pitch.

United manager Jose Mourinho was having none of it as he arrived at the Liberty Stadium

Randall likes to show off his freestyle skills to the professionals, and the gloved supporter opted to demonstrate his impressive array of party tricks by balancing a ball on the side of his head.

The schemer managed to hold the ball still for a full 38 seconds as United's players made their entrance ahead of the comfortable 3-1 win last Sunday, with Daley Blind, Wayne Rooney, Michael Carrick and Ashley Young among those to walk straight past the street act.

But after first-team coach Silvino Louro had been tempted to flick the ball off the freestyler's head, Mourinho could not resist the temptation of such an open invitation.

The fan sees the funny side of the prank as he quips, 'there's always one' ahead of the game

As the 53-year-old made his way to the away dressing-room past the cameras crews, fans and photographers, he mischievously taps the ball off the entertainers head, with Randall admitting afterwards, 'there's always one!'

It was a rare light-hearted moment from the Portuguese during a turbulent period of results and erratic behaviour off the field.

The former Chelsea manager questioned the pain thresholds of defenders Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw both before and after Zlatan Ibrahimovic's double helped his side to a routine win.
