Is she back with French Montana? Iggy Azalea sparks rumours she's reunited with rapper... as she gets slammed for animal cruelty for posing with an elephant at his birthday party

Fans have slammed Iggy Azalea for animal cruelty after she posted a photo of herself posing with an elephant in rapper French Montana's backyard on social media.

In the photo, the 26-year-old stood close to the wild animal, who had jewels - that look like chains - wrapped around its forehead and ankles.

The elephant was a 'hired' birthday gift for French, who the Australian singer is reportedly dating. It is not known who gifted him the animal.

He posted: 'Shut yo ass up that elephant was a surprise for my bday in my yard when I walked out and was from the zoo and people that take care of it (sic).'

Hours earlier, he posted a photo of himself standing beside the elephant while dressed in a red robe.

'I love animals more than people !! Happy bday to me...positive vibes at the Casa,' he wrote alongside the image.

But despite French explaining the situation, many of Iggy's followers asked whether it will be the image used for her next album cover.

In the shared photo, Iggy flaunted her feminine curves as she dressed in a pale pink crop top and matching high-waisted tights that she rolled up to the knees.

While she wore her long blonde hair out and straight, she paired her outfit with beige ankle boots.

Days earlier, Iggy was in Australia filming the live shows for The X Factor, where she appears as a judge.
