Thinking about it: Kim and Kourtney Kardashian talk about the benefits of surrogacy, which Kim is considering, in the upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians

Kourtney tells Kim: 'You could have a baby for a year and nobody would even know'

Kim laughs at the idea as Kourtney adds: 'Not that that's a reason to have a surrogate but if you have to, that's a benefit.'

In a confessional to cameras, Kim, 36, reveals she has fears about trusting another woman to carry her baby and admits that she doesn't have enough information on it.

'I don’t know how I’m going to feel about it. I never have given it that much thought. It is something that does concern me.'

Kim, 36, confesses she has fears about trusting another woman to carry her baby and admits that she doesn't have enough information on it

'Obviously I do want to have my own baby,' Kim tells Kourtney, 37, 'But I truly don't know if my body can handle it one more time.'

'You should talk to somebody, maybe, who’s used a surrogate,' Kourtney suggests.

Kim suffered health complications during her previous two pregnancies including placenta accreta in both cases, a potentially life threatening condition which sees the placenta abnormally attach to the uterine wall.

In a prior preview clip Kim admitted to her sisters that she wants to 'explore surrogacy' after she and Kanye, 39 both expressed a desire for a third child.

'I truly don't know if my body can handle it one more time.' the mother-of-three said. Doctors have recommended Kim doesn't get pregnant again due to health complications she suffered during her first two

Kim is seen telling her family: 'So I've come to the conclusion that I just want to explore surrogacy,'

Kim is already mother to daughter North, three, and son Saint, 11 months, with the Gold Digger rapper- but has been open about her difficult struggle with child-bearing.

In a blog post last year Kim explained of the condition, and why it has put her off trying to get pregnant again: 'We induced my labour and I had North soon after. Right after delivery, the placenta usually then comes out.

Toying with the idea: Kim brought up the idea of using a surrogate to have a baby on the new episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians

'Mine did not. My placenta stayed attached inside my uterus, which is a condition called placenta accreta ...

'My doctor had to stick his entire arm in me and detach the placenta with his hand, scraping it away from my uterus with his fingernails. How disgusting and painful! (sic)'

She then continued: 'With the issues I had last time, my risk of having pre-eclampsia and placenta accreta are increased and there's not a whole lot I can do to prevent it, so my anxiety is a little high leading up to my delivery.

Risk: Kris looked shocked that Kim was talking about having a third child

Dangerous: TMZ reported last year that doctors told her she should not have any more children as it is almost guaranteed she will develop the condition again

'In a very rare case, I might need a hysterectomy after delivery if my condition is severe enough, but luckily my doctor doesn't think this will happen. So as time goes on, I am stressing out less and trying to go with the flow.'

TMZ reported at the end of last year that doctors told her she should not have any more children due to these frightening health risks, and that it is almost guaranteed she will develop the condition again if she has another child.

However the star is now looking into surrogacy, after openly admitting she and the rapper are keen to expand their family.

Kim admitted shortly after Saint was born that her spouse was already talking about wanting a third baby - but she had refused as the timing was not right.

She said on another episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians earlier this year: 'I said no way.

'I was so set on my two kids and how happy I was with my life the way that it is, but Kanye has been mentioning it every single day for the past 10 days. I'm like why is he doing this to me?!'

Then, when she was asked whether she had always wanted to have children on the Ellen Degeneres show, Kim admitted she had 'always wanted about six'.

'After having [North] I would have a million,' she continued, though she confirmed once again that the pregnancy was far from smooth-sailing and not something she wants to repeat anytime soon.

'The pregnancy, I wouldn't really wish that upon anyone. Anyone,' she insisted.
