First look! Nicole Kidman sports 1860s Western dress as she films Beguiled with Elle Fanning and Colin Farrell

Filming for The Beguiled began last week.

And on Wednesday Nicole Kidman, Elle Fanning, Colin Farrell and Kirsten Dunst were all spotted on set for the first time, clad in 1860s Western fashion appropriate for the Western drama.

Screenwriter and director Sofia Coppola is reuniting with Fanning after their 2010 film Somewhere, to create the star-studded remake of the 1971 film.

The leading ladies were dressed in daytime floor-length gowns of the Civil War era, featuring high necklines, wide pagoda sleeves, and buttons and frills down the front of the dresses.

Meanwhile, 34-year-old Dunst hid from the cold in between takes as she covered up with a powder blue shawl.

Both Dunst and Fanning showed off braided 'dos for the scenes that day.

The prairie dress was cinched, showing off the 18-year-old's slim waist.

Their leading man was dressed from the waist up in the garb of a Union soldier and wore a pair of modern sweatpants underneath while walking barefoot on set. 

The Irish actor's seven-year-old son Henry came to visit his papa on set.

Farrell has some big shoes to fill, as the 40-year-old actor will be playing John McBurney, originally played by Clint Eastwood in 1971. 

Filming for The Beguiled began on Halloween day and the movie is set to hit theaters in June 2017.

The Western drama follows a Union soldier who is held captive in a Confederate girl's boarding school.

He begins to con himself into each of their hearts, effectively turning the women against each other. 

Though more information on the plot of the upcoming film is sparse as of now, 49-year-old Kidman will play Martha Farnsworth, the domineering headmistress.

Dunst will play Edwina, the schoolteacher, and Fanning will take the role of Carol, a student.
