Donald Trump has revealed he will not sue the women who accused him of sexual assault

'Trump has decided not to pursue the lawsuits against the women who spoke out against him,' a source close to Trump told the New York Daily News.

'The Trump camp went to attorneys to discuss the lawsuits, but they have no plans to pursue them.'

During an election stop on October 22, Trump blasted the women and threatened to take action against them once the campaign was over.

'Total fabrication... All of these liars will be sued after the election is over,' he said at the time.

Trump's reportedly change of heart came just hours after one of the women to accuse him of sexual assault demanded the President-elect retract his past statements when he called them liars.

'During the Presidential campaign, Mr. Trump stated that after the election he would file lawsuits against me and other accusers who claimed that he sexually assaulted them,' Summer Zervos said in a statement.

'After he called me a liar I was threatened, bullied and saw my business targeted. I also suffered other repercussions, all because I chose to speak out and tell the truth. He now has the largest bully pulpit in the world and he has not yet taken back his threat to sue me and the others who came forward.

'I want to make it clear that even though it is hard and painful to go up against the world’s most powerful man, I will continue to speak truth and I refuse to be intimidated into silence. I would like Mr. Trump to retract his statements about me and others calling us liars and stating that what we said was fiction.

'Until he does retract, I will continue to speak out and tell the truth. The truth is always the right option and will win out in the end.'

Zervos' lawyer, Gloria Allred, also called on Trump to take back the comments in a statement.

'He now has the opportunity to begin his term with a clean slate in reference to the accusers, and the damage that he has done to these courageous women,' it read.

'I challenge him to seize the opportunity now to retract his statement that these accusers are liars, and that their allegations are fabrications and fictions. Retraction would undo some of the damage that he has inflicted on his accusers.'

The women to accuse Trump during the campaign were: Zervos, former Miss Finland Ninni Laaksonen - who accused him in the Finnish newspaper, Ilta-Sanomat, Jessica Drake, Jessica Leeds, Kristen Anderson, Lisa Boyne, Temple Taggart, Cathy Heller, Karena Virginia, Mindy McGillivray, Rachel Crooks, and Natasha Stoynoff.
