Make-up free Lourdes Leon wraps an affectionate arm around new skater boy 'beau' on day out in New York

The millennials of America were gearing up for a political battle that could shape their future on Monday.

And while Madonna was busy campaigning for Hillary Clinton in NYC, daughter Lourdes Leon and her new skater boy 'beau' were at ease that afternoon in Manhattan, as they enjoyed some respite from the turmoil.

The 20-year-old model and theatre student was spotted sharing a giggle with her close male friend on a park bench during polling day.

Youngsters seemed to have gathered in the Soho district, where Lourdes and her other half were also catching up.

She was relaxed in casual tracksuit bottoms and a fluffy jacket, to which she added patent shoes.

Lourdes was also make-up free with her hair scraped off her face; displaying her remarkable resemblance to famous mother Madonna.

The brunette and her male companion were first spotted together in July, casually hanging around the same Soho haunts.

Though little is known about her personal life, last summer Lourdes was spotted holding hands with a different boyfriend. 

Lourdes previously dated Homeland star Timothy Chamalet when they were in their final year of LaGuardia High School of Music & Art & Performing Arts.

They dated for a year but split in March 2014, not long before Lourdes took off to study at her mother's old university.

The 20-year-old has no doubt recently been reunited with her mother, who has been busy in the city campaigning for Hillary Clinton.

The Like A Virgin singer was flanked by hundreds - many of them students of New York University - as she performed at Washington Square Park in a set that included both original songs such as Like A Prayer, Express Yourself and Rebel Heart.

Previously this year, Lourdes' mother has spent a lot of her time in London settling her dispute with Guy Ritchie over their son Rocco, over who he will live with.
