Jeremy Renner took a break from the promotional trail for his new film to spend time with his three-year-old daughter.

The 45-year-old dad was seen holding Ava's hand tightly as the father-daughter duo left a hotel in New York City on Thursday.

The actor - who has been busy promoting Arrival - appeared to be juggling a lot in his hands with a coffee and tiny elephant-shaped backpack as they made their way to their ride.

Daddy duty! Jeremy Renner was spotted on Thursday in NYC holding his daughter's hand, Ava 3, as they exited their hotel

The Bourne Legacy actor - who had to fight for full custody of Ava from Canadian ex-wife, Sonni Pacheco - kept his daughter close as they exited the building.

Jeremy looked sharp in an all-black turtleneck shirt, paired with a tailored jacket, pants and laced leather shoes.

His only daughter sported quite the look with a cheetah-printed coat, shimmery grey leggings and small booties as she held her elephant stuffed animals in her arms.

Too much to carry? The 45-year-old devoted dad was carrying a coffee cup, small backpack and Ava's hand as they made their way to their ride

His one and only: The Bourne Legacy star recently stated in an interview about his love of being a father saying: 'Being a father is the best role to date'

Jeremy married the mother of Ava in January in 2014, nearly 10 months after she was born and filed for divorce less than a year later.

The divorce was settled in December of that year with a judge ruling of joint custody.

And his devotion to Ava is apparent as the Avengers: Age Of Ultron star said in a recent interview in November: 'Being a father is the best role to date. There’s nothing that’s going to trump it.'

Adding: 'She’s given me the greatest gift in life: the gift of focus and undeniable clarity of what I really want. It’s what real, true, unconditional love is. She’s blessed me with thoughts and wisdom about life.'

'There are a lot of things I don’t speak about, but this is something I do cherish, and will speak to you about it or on Instagram. It says a lot about who I am: being an involved parent, a cool father and making it a cool, bitchin’ thing.'

His angel: The singer/songwriter shared this photo to his Instagram in September with the caption: 'Behind the scenes set visit with my angel #readyforhercloseup #sharedexperiences #chatsonajetski

Blessed: The actor, who keeps his family live private, also said in his interview: 'She’s blessed me with thoughts and wisdom about life'

Meanwhile, the actor/musician will portray a mathematician in the upcoming film, Arrival, along with leading role played by Amy Adams.

Directed by Sicario's Denis Villeneuve, the film touches upon an epic study of first contact with extra-terrestrials as the characters try and decipher aliens' language.

Arrival hits UK theaters on November 10 and U.S. theaters on November 11.
