The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has chosen the three daughters of Rocky star Sylvester Stallone to help hand out Golden Globe Awards in January.

And on Thursday night Sly, his wife Jennifer Flavin and their three daughters Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet Stallone, were seen attending InStyles Celebration of the 2017 Golden Globe Awards at Catch LA.

The organization that hosts the televised ceremony usually invites the offspring of a celebrity to aid presenters on stage.

But for the first time the HFPA announced there will be three Miss Golden Globes for 2017 - Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet Stallone.

'The Stallone sisters will continue our time honored tradition of handing out the statuettes at the awards ceremony,' HFPA President Lorenzo Soria said in a statement.

'Each of the lovely young women in the triad have had success whether it be in academics, sports or pursuing a modeling career,' Soria gushed.

'With being raised by such role models Sylvester and Jennifer, we can’t wait to see what the future has in store for these ladies.'

Sophia, 20, Sistine, 18, and Scarlet, 14, whose mother is Sly's wife Jennifer Flavin, responded by issuing a statement of their own expressing their delight at being invited to help hand out the statuettes.

'We’re thrilled to not only be part of the Golden Globe tradition, but to be making history as the first set of siblings ever chosen for the title and duties,' the sisters said.

'We are proud to be part of the HFPA family, an organization that multiple times has recognized our father’s work in film.'

This past January, it was Jamie Foxx's daughter Corinne Foxx who served as Miss Golden Globe 2016.

Previous holders of the title include Greer Grammer, daughter of Kelsey Grammer; Sosie Bacon, daughter of Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, and Francesca Eastwood, daughter of Clint Eastwood and Frances Fisher.

The Golden Globes will take place on Sunday January 8 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
