Hillary Clinton blames FBI Director James Comey for US election defeat

Clinton said her campaign was winning until Comey sent his letter to Congress on Oct. 28 announcing that the FBI had uncovered emails possibly related to its earlier probe into her use of a private server as secretary of state. Clinton told the donors that her campaign was leading by large margins in nearly every battleground state, until Comey released his letter. Comey (bottom) told lawmakers the Sunday before the election that the bureau had found no evidence to warrant criminal charges.

Alec Baldwin's Donald Trump character did not make an appearance during the opening segment. However, after reaching the end of the song, McKinnon closed with a positive message. 'I'm not giving up, and neither should you,' McKinnon said, before kicking the show over to comedian Dave Chapelle for his opening monologue.
