Staying stateside: On Thursday, she'd announced she was cancelling a booking to perform at the 11-11 Global Shopping Festival Gala in Shenzhen

'Regretfully, I must cancel my appearance on the Alibaba Double 11 due to a family emergency,' said her statement, adding: 'I am very sorry to disappoint my fans and look forward to seeing you in China soon.'

A vocal Hillary Clinton supporter, she's been vigorously expressing her consternation at Trump's electoral victory on Twitter.
