Michelle Williams was among the troupe of actors who've split into pairs to dish about their work for the TV series Variety Studio: Actors On Actors.

Her chatting partner on Saturday was Natalie Portman, with whom she's co-starred in a Roman Polanski ad parody called Greed.

Before the taping, the 36-year-old bared her toned legs in a black cocktail dress as she and the other participants stood for photos.

There's always a carpet event: On Saturday, Michelle Williams taped her episode of the forthcoming fifth series of Variety Studio: Actors On Actors

Her platinum blonde hair was combed neatly to one side, and silver rings encircled cuffs that spilled almost to her knuckles.

Though the front of her dress was cut halfway up her thigh, its rear fell to the knee, and she completed the look with black high-heeled boots.

Meanwhile, the 35-year-old - who's heavily pregnant with her second child by husband Benjamin Millepied - wore a smock-like black dress.

In the offing: The series will begin to air on various PBS stations in January

Variety Studio: Actors On Actors spent Saturday filming its fifth series, which according to Variety will begin to air on various PBS stations next year.

Other celebrity conversations will take place between Ryan Reynolds and Taraji P Henson, as well as between Amy Adams and Andrew Garfield and between Viola Davis and Tom Hanks.

Apparently, later in the month, pbssocal.org will begin to release clips of the fifth series, and they'll also stream the episodes next year when they air in full.
