They welcomed the newest addition to their family exactly one week ago.

And Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum were every inch the proud new parents as they stepped out in Miami on Friday with their son, Fordham Rhys, two, and seven-day-old daughter, Essex Reese.

Doting dad J.P., 39, lovingly carried not just his son against his chest, but his daughter as she rested inside her baby carrier, which had a blanket thrown across it to keep her cool.

The new parents-of-two put comfort first as they dressed down for the occasion. 

J.P. wore a grey shirt, khaki shorts, while his son wore a red soccer jersey, blue shorts, and a cute pair of tiny Nike trainers. 

Ashley rocked a cosy pair of leggings and a black and blue jacket that was zipped up at the front as she carried a cup of ice cream. 

She had her hair slicked back into a low ponytail, and her deep red manicure gave her low-key look a pop of colour.

Ashley was spotted another time out in black leggings and a long-sleeved Love No. 1 shirt.

The reality star and her husband, who both met each other while starring on The Bachelorette, are no doubt over the moon with their newest addition. 

Ashley took to Instagram that same day to celebrate her baby girl turning seven days old.

The extra cute image was of newborn Essex as she slumbered beside two toy blocks, which read 1 Week.

Essex Reese was born last Friday via Caesarean section at 10.38am and weighed in at a healthy 7lbs 11oz, measuring 19ins long, according to People.

Ashley married J.P. after giving him the final rose in the seventh season of ABC's The Bachelorette in 2011.

They tied the knot in a televised ceremony in December 2012.
