'F**k your father!' Eric Trump and his wife, Lara, heckled on the streets of New York City after a dinner celebrating Donald's election win

Eric Trump and his wife, Lara, have been set upon by hecklers on Sixth Avenue in Manhattan.

The two Trumps had been out for dinner with friends on Thursday night celebrating the Donald's election triumph when the incident took place, according to the New York Post. 

After stopping by Quality Italian steakhouse on 57th Street in the city for a catch-up with friends, Eric and Lara reportedly headed back outside.

The couple had reportedly just left Quality Italian steakhouse on 57th Street when they were attacked by teen hecklers

They were crossing Sixth Avenue when the alleged heckling took place.

'Eric, f**k your father,' a menacing group of eight teens shouted at the members of the newest first family, according to the Post.

According to the newspaper, Eric turned briefly to face his attackers, but then he thought better of any sort of confrontation and continued walking.

Another significantly more mild-mannered heckler allegedly added: 'Love trumps hate'.
