Nicola McLean dazzles in a stylish leopard print top as she cuddles up to her chihuahua at The Secret Life of Pets premiere

She's a doting mother and animal lover. 

So it came as no surprise to see Nicola McLean, 35,  was in good spirits as she brought her children and adorable pet pooch to the UK premiere of The Secret Life of Pets DVD launch in London on Saturday. 

Walking the red carpet, the mum-of-two couldn't keep the smile off her face as she cuddled up to her puppy for the cameras before heading inside with her brood.

Looking effortlessly glamorous for the outing, the former Page 3 girl donned a leopard print top which sheathed her enviable figure. 

Layering up, the starlet donned a black leather jacket, whilst her slim pins were slipped into a pair of skinny black jeans. 

She finished off the look by styling her golden locks in a centre parting that framed her flawless features. 

Nicola was not joined on the red carpet by her husband, ex-footballer Tom Williams, but had plenty of company in the form of their two sons, Rocky, 10, and Striker, six.

The trio seemed in great spirits at the event, following their terrifying experience over the summer which saw them burgled whilst they slept in their beds.  

Speaking to the MailOnline, after the harrowing incident, Nicola said: 'They broke into my house when me and the boys were sleeping alone.'

She continued: 'Stole my car keys and house keys, then stole my car. I'm so scared and upset to think the boys were unsafe.'

The former Celebrity Big Brother star said she had reported the matter to the police who were investigating.  

She added to the MailOnline: 'Apparently chihuahuas are not good guard dogs.' 

Nicola then tweeted her anger at the situation, posting: 'When your house gets broken into while your asleep and they steal you car!!! Yeah them ones. Hope you crash.'
