'Being pregnant is when I feel most powerful': The Young Mummy blogger says that in spite of the stretch marks, the excruciating pain and the migraines, she feels 'on top of the world' while expecting a baby

For many women, pregnancy is a beautiful but uncomfortable time of life.
From the stretch marks to the weight gain, the morning sickness and the changes in your body, it's a time that requires an ability to adapt - and adapt quickly.
However, for one woman - 26-year-old Melbourne-based mummy blogger, Sophie Cachia - being pregnant is when she feels most powerful.

Currently expecting her second child, Ms Cachia took to Instagram on Saturday to comment on how fantastic being pregnant makes her feel.
'Being pregnant is when I feel most powerful,' she said.
'It's like you're on top of the world... Hey, I might be 15-odd kilograms heavier, but I'm on cloud nine.'

In spite of the 'horrific morning sickness', the 'excruciating pain for months on end', the migraines, constipation, stretch marks and 'pelvic floor issues', for Ms Cachia, carrying a baby inside of her is something she is nearly addicted to:
'I say I'll be happy with two kids, but my gut tells me I'm definitely lying,' she said.
'There's something so empowering about carrying a life inside of you.'
