Daisy Lowe displays her leggy model figure in super-short dress and grungy biker jacket as she makes her way to Strictly filming

She's been lighting up the Strictly Come Dancing floor with an array of winning performances in recent weeks.

But Daisy Lowe showed off the model prowess she is better known for on Saturday morning, as she stepped out in a casual but chic ensemble.

The brunette beauty, 27, showed off her famously long and lean pins in a super-short dress and jumper combo, as made her way to the BBC studios in London for the next live show.

The daughter of Pearl Lowe left her long and slender pins on full display as she headed to set in a super-short black T-shirt dress, layered over thin tights.

Mixing casual and cool styles together, Daisy then added a cosy charcoal knitted jumper on top, to keep her warm and comfortable on the miserable autumn day.

Maintaining her usual hint of glamour however, the British beauty teamed the look with a grungy but stylish leather biker jacket, adorned with chunky silver zips.

The model then accessorised with a pair of trendy oversized sunglasses, and opted for the trademark lace-up ankle boots that she is rarely seen without.

She also carried her essentials in a navy blue velvet tote bag, adding a subtle hint of colour to the all-black ensemble.

Leaving her hair in its everyday tousled state and her face bare, Daisy displayed her natural beauty as she headed out for the big day.

Daisy was beaming as she made her way to the BBC studios for this week's Strictly Come Dancing - having found her feet on the show once again last Saturday.

The model dazzled the judges with a smooth Viennese Waltz, which saw her score an impressive 34 and sail through to the next round with partner Aljaz Skorjanec.

This came as a uplifting feat for the pair, who had landed themselves in the bottom two for the previous two weeks in a row.

Speaking to BBC Radio 1 DJ and old pal Nick Grimshaw on Tuesday, the model revealed that her time in the bottom two had made her upset, but she's still hopeful about her progress.

She said: 'I think the first time being in the bottom two made me really upset and I feel like I was heartbroken the whole week.

'Then the second time it happened it made me think, "No, I do deserve to still be [in the competition] and I am going to keep dancing, I really love it and I am really going to try and stay this time.''

Not only that but Daisy still has high hopes for staying in the competition, and is still confidently eyeing up the Glitterball trophy.

'I would love to win,' she gushed. 'It would be a dream come true, I know that the competition is high and I know that everyone loves everyone and wants to win the competition but I would love for people to pick up the phone and vote for me.'

The recent success on Strictly will also come as a much-needed lift for Daisy - who suddenly split from her boyfriend Bradley 'Frankie' Wade last week.

A spokesperson for the brunette beauty told MailOnline: 'Daisy and Frankie have had a discussion and decided to call it a day due to their mutually busy schedules.'

However, a friend of Daisy's told The Sun that the pair had 'decided they were better off as friends.'

The breakup was undoubtedly a shock to the model but also fans, too - as Daisy had declared her love for her male model beau on Lorraine that same morning.

Talking about the so-called 'Strictly curse' on the morning chat show, the daughter of Gavin Rossdale confessed that her Strictly partner Aljaz was more like a brother, and that she's too infatuated with her boyfriend to feel any threat.

She said: 'Aljaž is like my brother and I'm so in love with him and Janette as a couple,' before adding coyly: ‘I’m so in love with my boyfriend.’
