I'm A Celebrity... get me down from here! Ola Jordan and Carol Vorderman are suspended over 32-storey building for the show's first terrifying challenge

On Sunday night viewers will see the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestants settle into their camps for the first time.

But ahead of the show's launch, the unwitting campmates had to decide who would be living in luxury and who would be left to their own devices in the jungle, as they competed in the series' first terrifying task.

Split into two teams, Ola Jordan, 34, and Carol Vorderman, 55, were among the stars taking part in the first challenge on Friday as they were forced to walk along a narrow plank suspended on top of the Focus Tower in Surfers’ Paradise on Australia’s Gold Coast.

The 10m long platform had three large gaps in it which Ola, Carol, Jordan Banjo, Joel Dommett and Adam Thomas were tasked with walking over to reach the other side.

Strapped into the harnesses, the stars were then tasked with standing out on the edge before making their way back to show hosts Ant and Dec.

Whilst all five were successful in completing the task, the nerves were clear to see on their faces as they strode out into the abyss.

Dance it out: Diversity's Jordan Banjo was no doubt a pro at the task being a dancer for a living
