Natalie Portman is expecting her second child with husband Benjamin Millepied.
And as her due date fast approaches the heavily pregnant star opted for effortless elegance as she was spotted stepping out in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The 35-year-old Oscar winner flattered her bump in a black silk dress which fell loosely around her frame.

The baggy frock featured a plunging V-neckline, loose short sleeves and an above-the-knee hemline which showed off her trim pins.
Natalie teamed the comfortable look with a chic pair of kitten heels.
The actress was all smiles as she carefully walked down some steps with her publicist and makeup artist paving the way.
Soon after, Natalie was seen among the troupe of actors who've split into pairs to dish about their work for the TV series Variety Studio: Actors On Actors.

Variety Studio: Actors On Actors spent Saturday filming its fifth series, which according to Variety will begin to air on various PBS stations next year.
Meanwhile, Natalie's next role sees her as First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy in Pablo Larraín's biopic Jackie.
The sixties-set drama - starring Peter Sarsgaard, Billy Crudup, and John Hurt - hits US theaters December 2 and UK theaters January 20.
