Gold statues is what the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is most famous for.

So perhaps Lily Collins had her sights set on one when she arrived statuesque and Golden on Saturday night.

The 27-year-old oozed class in a sumptuous gold satin gown as she took to the Governers Awards red carpet at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center.

Lily Collins looked stunning in a satin gown as she took to the Governors Awards red carpet at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center.

Lily oozed with old Hollywood class. She rocked classic curls and a gorgeous red lip.

Her satin liquid gold dress is by Amanda Wakeley but to our dismay the exact dress isn't available to buy yet.

The actress teased at her lithe figure in the off-the-shoulder backless dress. 

She pinned her flowing brunette locks back to showcase her flawless porcelain complexion, punctuated by a vibrant red lip.

Lily was surrounded by a veritable who's who of ladies in Hollywood at the illustrious event, including Amy Adams, Laura Dern, Lupita Nyong'o, Naomie Harris, Ruth Negga, Annette Bening, Nicole Kidman, Felicity Jones and Marion Cotillard.

The boys were pretty well represented too, by Arnold Schwarzenegger, Andrew Garfield, Jeff Bridges, Warren Beatty, Ben Foster, Chris Pine, Mark Wahlberg, Casey Affleck, Lin-Manuel Miranda and even Jackie Chan.

Husband and wife team of Beatty and Bening will be very familiar to Lily, whose latest film Rules Don't Apply was written by the former and stars the latter.
