From Top Gear to top rear! Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock teaches Jeremy Clarkson how to twerk on chat show

While he may know his way around a race track, but he's not exactly known for his smooth moves on the dancefloor.

Which is why Little Mix felt obliged to step in on Saturday night, when they took the opportunity to teach Jeremy Clarkson how to twerk.

During recording for The Jonathan Ross Show, an obliging Leigh-Anne Pinnock hopped off the yellow sofa to teach Jeremy and the host a raunchy routine.

Cheeky: Jeremy Clarkson got a lesson in twerking from Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock on Saturday night's episode of Jonathan Ross

The High Wycombe-born beauty was wearing the perfect outfit for the job, as she was already drawing attention to her perfect curves in a leotard and sheer jumpsuit.

With her hips jutted backwards, the brunette showed the men how to wiggle their bottoms with their hips rested on their knees.

Even the crouching position proved too much for 55-year-old Jonathan and 56-year-old Jeremy, who both complained about aches when they stood back up again.

It was a move that had the quartet of singers - who originally won The X Factor in 2011 - falling about with laughter.

'We've had to grow a thick skin': The Little Mix girls (from left, Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne) told Jonathan Ross they've 'had a lot of stick over their appearance' as they talked about 'pressures' in the industry on the show

Going for it: Leigh-Anne threw herself into the cheeky lesson

Thee girls were at their red carpet best in all-black ensembles as they spoke to Jonathan about receiving stick for their appearances since the ITV competition win, five years ago.

Band member Jesy Nelson revealed it hasn't always been easy to feel at ease with their looks.

She said: 'The way that we feel about ourselves. Especially in the beginning, we did get a lot of stick [about the way we looked]...

Go for it: Even Jonathan had a go at the raunchy dance move

Dollar bills: Leigh-Anne simulated throwing money at the star

'I think there’s a lot of pressure, especially for young girls, to look a certain way and when we went on The X Factor we didn’t look that great and we got a lot of stick for it and it was hard.

'Obviously we’d just been thrown into this whole experience so we’d never experienced anything like this and it was just a bit of a shock to the system.

She continued: 'We still get it now but I think we’ve grown a thick skin now to it all.

Worlds apart: The girls found fame on X Factor five years ago and looked rather different to how they do today

She continued: 'We still get it now but I think we’ve grown a thick skin now to it all'

Jesy (second from right) said: 'The way that we feel about ourselves. Especially in the beginning, we did get a lot of stick [about the way we looked]...'

Show off your shoulders in Jade's ASOS blazer

The Little Mix ladies looked every inch the girl band on Jonathan Ross wearing coordinating black ensembles.

One of our favourite looks was Jade’s, who sported an off the shoulder blazer teamed with shorts and over the knee velvet boots.

The Bardot trend is still going strong and this double breasted blazer is a fresh take on the look and a great way to inject some fun into tailoring.

Whilst this jacket looks super luxe it’s actually from ASOS and will set you back a doable £60, follow the link on the right to get it now, or shop around with our edit below, including picks from Antonio Berardi, Missguided and Cinq A Sept.

And if you love the boots you can find them below too!

'It’s hard especially when you’re so young and you’re not used to people just being able to comment on what you look like and being able to see it in front of your face.'

However, the girls admitted they help each other to get through things and can never imagine being soloists now.

Jesy, who has recently sparked rumours of a split from her fiancé Jake Roche, said: 'If we were on our own, we’d be terrified.

She added: 'I think there’s a lot of pressure, especially for young girls, to look a certain way and when we went on The X Factor we didn’t look that great and we got a lot of stick for it'

There will be no going solo: 'I think if we were on our own, we’d absolutely s*** ourselves,' Jesy told the audience

'I just love that we - I know it sounds really cheesy - but I love how we support each other and bring out a confidence in each other that we never knew we had.

'I think if we were on our own, we’d absolutely s*** ourselves.'

Leigh-Anne said: 'When I split up with my ex, I was thinking "I have got my three best friends, what does it matter?"

'I’m so lucky to have these girls and that’s how we feel all the time. We’re the best of friends. People don’t believe that we actually get on as well.'

On the breakdown of Perrie’s relationship with Zayn Malik, the pretty blonde (second from left) said: 'For a normal girl to go through something like that it’s hard'

Adding: 'I think when the whole world is looking at it and talking about it, you feel a bit [affected by it]. Obviously I didn’t say too much about it, I briefly mentioned it'

Shaky ground: Speaking about loving Japan, the girls recounted a story where they were caught up in an Earthquake

Perrie explained: 'Me and Jesy are lying in bed having a little moment, a heart-to-heart and I’m looking at her and the bed is [shaking]...'

All stars: (Top right to bottom right): Micky Flanagan, Jonathan Ross, Robbie Williams, Jeremy Clarkson and Little Mix - Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock
