It wasn't a Veteran's Day post per se.

Khloe Kardashian dressed up in camou gear for an Instagram snap on Friday night.

While she didn't mention the holiday - and she didn't mention any thanks to the soldiers who defend her country - the timing of the post couldn't be denied.

She also seemed to suggest that she had borrowed her heavy camouflage jacket from boyfriend, Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson.

'Never too late for a late post,' she captioned with a loveheart, adding: 'jacked his jacket'

As well as the heavy coat, she wore a grey shirt bearing the word 'Army', also presumably Thompson's, as it was long enough to hide whatever skirt or shorts she wore, if any.

She finished the look in a pair of thigh high black boots.

Still going: Either way, her wearing Tristan's threads seem to put paid to the rumours circulating he had dumped her because he was getting too much stick from his teammates. The two have been dating for more than two months now

It's no secret, street wear and athleisure have been this year's biggest trends.

The strange lining on her exposed thigh meanwhile mystified followers into a discussion, until Khloe herself put them out of their misery, revealing on Twitter that she was wearing nude fishnet tights.

Not everyone was a fan of the outfit however; some commentators felt it was disrespectful for the day that was in it. 

'I find it purely disrespectful to wear any 'Army' shirt when I'm sure... you don't know any man or woman in any branch of the military,' one commentator wrote.

'My husband and military friends have done enough tours to allow you to even walk that street. Take the shirt off you don't deserve it.'
