She is famed for starring in cult classic The Mummy, but Rachel Weisz looked like she was almost embalmed herself as she wrapped up against the winter weather.

The 46-year-old actress was barely recognisable as she strolled through the streets of New York for a spot of shopping on Saturday.

Rachel stood out in a conical woolly hat and hid her figure beneath a giant beige poncho style cover-up as she went out and about.

Keeping warm in her wintry get-up, Rachel was clearly keen to go incognito under her cosy cap.

The actress, who is married to Bond star Daniel Crag, was a far cry from her red carpet glam as she stepped out in her ensemble which hid her stunning figure.

A giant beige poncho style coat swamped her tiny frame as she braved the elements in her street chic ensemble on Saturday.

Meanwhile Rachel is currently playing the role of Susan Traherne, who is a fiercely intelligent British secret agent, in the revival of David Hare’s Plenty.

The stunning star is juggling her new role with promoting her new film, Denial, and being a working mum to son Henry, 10, who she shares with her ex-husband, American filmmaker and producer Darren Aronofsky.

The actress is now happily married to James Bond star Daniel Craig, who she wed in 2011 in a private New York ceremony, with only four guests in attendance.
