'I had nothing left to give him': Daisy Lowe falls foul of Strictly curse... as she and beau Bradley 'Frankie' Wade couldn't 'cope with the pressure'

Daisy Lowe has blamed her Strictly Come Dancing commitments for her recent split with Bradley 'Frankie' Wade.

Detailing the rehearsals, promotional commitments and appearances on spin-off It Takes Two, Daisy told The Sun it became impossible to sustain her relationship with the hunk.

'At the beginning, which is supposed to be the most joyful honeymoon period, I had nothing to give him, we could have coped with the pressure if we had been together for ages and had known all of the ins and outs of each other.'

Impossible: Daisy Lowe said her Strictly commitments were to blame for her break up with Bradley 'Frankie' Wade

Daisy added that she had no personality at the end of a day of training at Strictly, coupled with the weekend performance and commitments to It Takes Two.

She continued: 'Trying to start a new relationship at the same time was just too much. Strictly is the most intense thing I’ve ever done, as well as the best.'

Daisy said that couple - who dared for five months - were too early on in their relationship to love each other, anyway.

'Love didn’t ever come into mine and Frankie’s relationship,' she went on. 'We never talked about it because we only dated for a few months.

On the day that the split was announced, the model told TV presenter Lorraine that she sees her Strictly Come Dancing partner more like a brother, and that she's too infatuated with her boyfriend to feel any threat of a 'Strictly curse'.

When asked about the chances of anything occurring, she said: 'Aljaž is like my brother and I'm so in love with him and Janette as a couple.’

It's over: The beauty, pictured with Frankie Wade back in September, is the first dancer of the series to fall victim to the Strictly relationship curse

The beauty is the first of the series to experience a split during the show as she and Bradley - who began dating in August - called time on their romance.

'Daisy and Frankie have had a discussion and decided to call it a day due to their mutually busy schedules,' a spokesperson for Daisy told MailOnline at the time of the split.

Daisy split from Frankie earlier this month, bizarrely hours after professing her love for him during an appearance on TV show Lorraine.

New romance: Bradley and Daisy have been romantically linked since the summer

She dismissed rumours further by adding coyly: ‘I’m so in love with my boyfriend.’

Daisy had previously enjoyed a fling with singer Darius Campbell and an 18-month relationship with Matt Smith of Dr Who, before they split amid reports of his hesitance to commit.

She then embarked on a brief romance with Thomas Cohen, the widower of her best friend Peaches Geldof whom he shares two children with.
