Help is on the way! Supergirl, The Flash, and Arrow unite for the biggest crossover event in CW superhero history

The CW is gearing up for DC's biggest superhero crossover event on TV.

The Flash, Supergirl, Arrow, and other comic book heroes from some of the most popular shows on The CW will unite later this month to save humanity in an epic four-day event.

Grant Gustin (26), Stephen Amell (35), and Melissa Benoist (28) all appeared in full superhero garb to grace the cover of Entertainment Weekly and give an inside scoop on what has been dubbed the 'Berlantiverse,' after super producer and creator of the beloved shows, Greg Berlanti.

United we stand: After a tense week in US history, the vibrant 'super friends' cover featuring the superheroes gave some much needed comic relief

The vibrant cover features the stars behind Arrow's Oliver Queen, Supergirl's Kara Danvers, and The Flash's Barry Allen in their superhero outfits, smiling and embracing.

The actors anticipate the four-day event in which their characters will join forces to fight villains, including 'mind-controlling extraterrestrials that are threatened by Earth's surging population of metahumans,' according to the magazine, which hit newsstands on Friday.

The crossover will begin in the final scene of the November 28th episode of Supergirl.

It will continue into the next three nights on The Flash and Arrow, and conclude on DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

It's been revealed that there will be some tension between the superheroes as they team up to save humanity from the Dominators.

As reported by EW, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg revealed there might be tension when some of the characters meet Supergirl.

'Some people, like Barry [Grant Gustin] already know her, so Barry's completely cool with her,' Kreisberg said following a press screening of a Supergirl episode.

But for some of the other superhero characters, Supergirl will be the first alien they have ever interacted with.

Already acquainted: 'Some people, like Barry already know [Supergirl], so Barry's completely cool with her,' Kreisberg said of the upcoming tensions between Supergirl and the other superheroes

According to Kreisberg, Olivier [Stephen Amell] initially keeps his distance from Supergirl.

'He's kind of hit his breaking point for things he's willing to accept,' the executive producer revealed in October.

The superheroes will have to get used to the idea of aliens, considering the villains of the Arrow-Flash-Supergirl-Legends crossover are the Dominators - a technologically advanced alien race that plans to eliminate the rising threat of metahumans.

The epic crossover event will begin in the final scene of the November 28th episode of Supergirl, continue into The Flash and Arrow, and conclude in Legends of Tomorrow.
