Daddy duty: Nate Berkus revealed he had to vacuum glass after his daughter Poppy shattered their coffee table 15 minutes before heading to the Baby2Baby Gala
Nate explained that as soon as it happened, according to People, Jeremiah 'literally picked her up in one second and checked her feet and I grabbed her hands and I was like, okay, she's fine.'
The former Nate Berkus Show host told reporters that there were 'massive shards of glass' on the floor; they made sure to keep the baby and their dog away from the mess.
Jeremiah, his hubby of two years, snapped a photo of him cleaning up the glass while sporting a bow tie, a white button up and and black slacks.
Brent, who is also an interior designer, captioned the picture: 'This is what getting ready for #baby2baby gala looks like when your 18month old shatters the glass coffee table.'

Nate added that 'it's been a really wonderful transition.'
While on the carpet, he also revealed that they are 'actually the first same sex couple to be asked to be part of Baby2Baby on the board,' adding that it's 'an enormous honor.'
