Just like daddy! Josh Duhamel's son Axl steals the show as he poses up a storm on star-studded red carpet for new Avatar-inspired Cirque du Soleil

Looks like someone might be following in their father's footsteps.

Axl Duhamel showed off his acting skills as he and his father Josh attended the new Avatar-inspired Cirque du Soleil show.

The three-year-old instantly became the centre of attention as he mimicked a performer's pose at the opening night of Toruk: The First Flight in Los Angeles, California, on Friday night.

As the acrobat - who was dressed up as one of the Na'vi people from Avatar - squatted down and held his hands in a claw-like position, Axl did the same thing.

The adorable moment stole the limelight from his dad and the other celebrities - not that anyone minded.

Fergie's little boy even dressed in a blue camo shirt to match the blue 'skin' of the Na'vi.

His dad meanwhile took to the carpet in some wax black denim pants with a navy shirt and a black jacket.

Also making it a family affair was Christina Milian, who brought her little girl Violet to the high flying event.

There was no missing Christina, with the 35-year-old heading to the event in a bright orange sweater, no discernible pants and statement boots.

The knee high grey boots featured lots of fringing so the From AM To PM star made sure to swish it around as she posed.

The actress was also joined by her mom as well as her sister Liv and Liv's partner Dominique Jean-Zéphiri.

Liv is very pregnant with the couple's first child - who already has its own Instagram.

Also keen to see some acrobatics was Helen Hunt, Mira Sorvino and Lisa Bonet.

Toruk will be touring around the US for limited dates from now until March.
