'We never asked to be role models': Perrie Edwards says she feels 'pressure' to act responsibly as she joins Little Mix co-stars for sizzling photo shoot

She's one quarter of multi-platinum selling girl group Little Mix.

But Perrie Edwards has expressed that with musical success and recognition comes a lot of pressure to behave.

She and the other Little Mix girls took part in a sultry photo shoot for Fault magazine, which saw them showing off their enviable figures and taking part in an accompanying interview.

Under pressure: Perrie Edwards says she feels 'pressure' to act responsibly as she joins Little Mix co-stars for sizzling photo shoot

Leaning against a mirror, Perrie was snapped in a silvery-blue silk strappy dress, wearing her blonde tresses loose around her shoulders and staring intensely down the lens of the camera.

When asked about becoming role models for young girls and having a responsibility towards them, Perrie said candidly in the accompanying interview:

'I think being named role models kind of happened just naturally, we never really asked for it. Which is lovely, I love the fact that girls look up to us and we empower people and inspire them.

'But obviously, we’re young girls and we’re going to do silly things sometimes that can kind of put pressure on us, but we’re just being ourselves.

Gorgeous in gold: Leigh-Anne Pinnock opted for an equally sexy look as she perched on the edge of a crushed velvet seat sporting an alluring gold gown

At ease: Jade Thirlwall posed casually in an ensemble comprising of a sheer black poker dot dress orange pumps by Jimmy Choo and lingerie by Calvin Klein, visible through the dress and accentuating her slender physique

'And if that means that we’re being role models by just being ourselves, then that’s incredible. It’s a massive compliment.'

She went on to add that as women in the public eye working in an industry that constantly scrutinizes people she also feels its the girls' right to act against such scrutiny.

'We don’t think it’s fair that women get scrutinized more than men,' she said. 'Everything is harder for a woman in every kind of aspect and that’s why we try to empower women with our music, our image and everything we stand for.

'If we can help a little bit, then we’re doing okay.'

Sultry: Opting for a slightly more conservative look was Jesy Nelson who sported a checked jacket, unbuttoned slightly to reveal her bust, and black laurel trousers by Marc Cain

Meanwhile, band mate Leigh-Anne Pinnock opted for an equally sexy look as she perched on the edge of a crushed velvet seat sporting an alluring gold gown with intricate hand-embellishments and a slight cut out above the bust flattering her curves.

The singer sat with her toned pins crossed and her sleek raven tresses loose as she looked seductively at the camera for the shot.

Her look was finished off with a pair of embossed velvet black platform sandals.

Not our fault: The Little Mix girls took part in a photo shoot for Fault magazine, which saw them showing off their enviable figures and taking part in an accompanying interview

The singer showed off dark smokey eyes and wore her dark locks curled and voluminous about her face.

One accessory missing from Jesy's outfit choices at the moment is her engagement ring.

The 25-year-old sparked a frenzy of speculation on Wednesday when she was spotting out on the town with her band mates without the ring on her finger.

Despite her smiles, she looked a little down in the dumps as she held hands with her protective pal Jade.

The break-up reports first swirled when eagle-eyed users of social media noticed that she was no longer listed among her fiancé Jake Roche's Instagram followers.

Dance instructors: Leigh-Anne has also been responsible this week for taking Jeremy Clarkson under her wing - to teach him how to twerk

Taking charge: Appearing on Jonathan Ross' chat show sofa on Saturday night, Leigh-Anne was wearing the perfect outfit for the job, as she was already drawing attention to her perfect curves in a leotard and sheer jumpsuit

It was later reported that the pair had a big falling out before the unfollowing, adding further weight to split rumours.

Jesy and Jake have been engaged for 18 months after the 24-year-old Rixton singe - who is the son of Coleen Nolan and Shane Richie - proposed last July with the help of Ed Sheeran.

Ed performed one of the couple's favourite songs Tenerife Sea as Jake popped the question.

Despite this turn of events, Little Mix have every reason to celebrate following the smash reception of their new single Shout Out To My Ex, taken from their fourth album Glory Days.

Despite being written prior to Jesy's alleged cancelled engagement, the lyrics have already become notorious for throwing shade at the girls' collective ex-boyfriends - notably Perrie's former beau Zayn Malik.

Demonstration: The quartet of singers - who originally won The X Factor in 2011 - ended up falling about with laughter

'We’ve all been through heartbreak and love, so we’ve written a song that girls can relate to,' Jesy told The Sun. 'It’s kind of an “up yours!”. I love that they will think: “Oh, f**k you,” when they hear it. That’s why I feel so lucky that we can express ourselves through our music.'

And as the lyrics contain a racy line about faking it in bed - something all of the band members confess to having done - they also say that they're not shy about making their erstwhile lovers feel small, should they hear the song.

'If your ex has been a bit of an a***hole, then it’s nice to belittle them,' explained Leigh-Anne, who was reported to have split with footballer Jordan Kiffin in June.

Twerk it: With her hips jutted backwards, the brunette showed Jeremy and Jonathan how to wiggle their bottoms with their hips rested on their knees

Leigh-Anne has also been responsible this week for taking Jeremy Clarkson under her wing - to teach him how to twerk.

Appearing on Jonathan Ross' chat show sofa on Saturday night, the 25-year-old was wearing the perfect outfit for the job, as she was already drawing attention to her perfect curves in a leotard and sheer jumpsuit.

With her hips jutted backwards, the brunette showed Jeremy and Jonathan how to wiggle their bottoms with their hips rested on their knees.

Even the crouching position proved too much for 55-year-old Jonathan and 56-year-old Jeremy, who both complained about aches when they stood back up again.

It was a move that had the quartet of singers - who originally won The X Factor in 2011 - falling about with laughter.
