Fans of The X Factor have slammed Iggy Azalea on social media amid reports the Australian rapper has been given 'unkind names' on set.

A source told The Daily Telegraph the 26-year-old is unpopular on the reality TV show because of her lateness and lack of enthusiasm.

Staff allegedly started calling her names - which News Corp declined to published - in response to her frequent trips to America during filming.

Meanwhile, fans have expressed their frustrations about Iggy's performance on Facebook and Twitter, calling her 'rude and arrogant'

One fan wrote on The X Factor's Facebook page: 'Iggy Azalea should go back to the US. She is disrespectful and is downright arrogant.

'There isn't one endearing quality about her. Can't wait for a year or two to pass and everyone will be saying, "Iggy who?"'

Another viewer wrote: 'SO X FACTOR tell us: who the hell does Iggy think she is not to undertake her duties as a judge?

'Not standing up for the guest acts and her total performance on this show is way below par, she's rude, disrespectful, she was NEVER passionate.

'It's clear she's not fit for work and she should stand down from the show.

'The executive producer/s or managers of this show should be hanging their heads in shame for not doing this,' the fan concluded.

But it's not just fans and production staff who allegedly have issues with the Fancy hitmaker - because her fellow judges are also unhappy.

Guy Sebastian has questioned Iggy's interest in the project, saying her behaviour makes her a bad ambassador for the TV show.

'I think it reflects poorly on the show when it seems someone is not invested in it. That’s as narky as I’m going to get,' he said last week.

'I am there all week, Mel is there all week and Adam is there all week.'

Meanwhile, judge Adam Lambert told Nova 96.9's Fitzy & Wippa that Iggy is a 'little crazy'.

'She's just a tough nut to crack... and she is a nut! She's a little crazy,' he said.

In response to being labelled the 'mean judge,' Iggy previously told DailyMail.com: 'Adam's the mean one. It is hard. 

'I try to be as nice as I can, but I also try to be as constructive in my criticism as I can.

'I never want to be mean for the sake of having a laugh at someone else's expense, because I've been in that position and I am in that position all the time.'
