Ivana Trump is ready to become an ambassador after her three children with ex-husband Donald Trump landed spots on the president-elect's transition team.
'I will suggest that I be ambassador for the Czech Republic,' Ivana told the New York Post, although her home country announced it would be going by the new name Czechia in September.
Ivana also suggested the White House might be a downgrade from his current digs and said: 'I don’t think he’s going to do gold leafing in the White House.'

Donald Trump's transition team has already proven to be a family affair, with Ivanka, Donald Jr and Eric Trump all taking adviser positions alongside son-in-law Jared Kushner
Donald Trump's transition team has already proven to be a family affair, with Ivanka, Donald Jr and Eric Trump all taking adviser positions alongside son-in-law Jared Kushner, who is said to be in the running to become Chief of Staff.
Now, Ivana is ready to become an ambassador to Czechia, telling the Post she is fluent in the language and well known in her home country.
She added: 'I’m quite known all around the world. Not only in America. I have written three books, and they were translated in 40 countries in 25 languages. I’m known by the name Ivana. I really did not need the name Trump.'
If there's one thing Ivana says the Donald will struggle with, it's the demands of traveling, which proved to be grueling during the campaign and will only intensify once he's inaugurated.
She compared him to a French wine and told the Post: 'He doesn't like to be moved and traveled.'
Ivana also suggested the White House might be a downgrade from his current digs and said: 'I don’t think he’s going to do gold leafing in the White House'
She also shared her sympathy for Trump's youngest son Barron and said she did not envy Melania's position as First Lady
But Trump is expected to retain the vestiges of his old life by golfing, keeping his lavish apartment in Manhattan, and traveling on his own private plane, the 67-year-old former model said.
'To be perfectly honest, I think probably the Trump Tower and my town house in New York is much better than the White House,' Ivana told the Post.
But she said her ex-husband maintained an optimistic outlook on moving to the White House, concluding that he could make it work if presidents before him did as well.
While Ivana was unclear as to whether her three children would be appointed to the cabinet, she gave her endorsement of Kushner, saying he would do 'very well'.
She also shared her sympathy for Trump's youngest son Barron and said she did not envy Melania's position as First Lady.
Ivana was born in Czechia when it was still known as Czechoslovakia and became a US Citizen in 1988.
She is the author of Free to Love, For Love Alone, and The Best Is Yet to Come: Coping with Divorce and Enjoying Life Again.
