Kerri-Anne Kennerley broke down in tears on Sunday Night when talking about her husband John's paralysis. A fourth family member of the same name (middle) is serving a life sentence for the importation of 15 million ecstasy tablets with a street value of at least $122 million.

Today Show host Karl Stefanovic and his wife Cassandra Thorburn have sold their family home for $3.8 million. According to Domain, the palatial property, on Sydney's north shore, was only put on the market two weeks ago, but already the estranged couple have landed a buyer - six weeks after ending their 21 years of marriage. Nicole Zheng of Tower & London - the local agents managing the sale - confirmed it had sold for about $3.8 million on Tuesday morning.

A heartbroken mother has made an emotional plea urging parents to watch out for the same brain-eating disease that killed her little boy. Jodi Keough, from rural Far North Queensland, lost her one-year-old son Cash (both pictured left) late last year after he contracted a devastating waterborne infection while playing with the hose in the backyard. Cash (top and bottom right) was described as a 'cheeky monkey' by his devastated mother, who was sharing her story in the hope of preventing similar tragedies. Mrs Keough said: 'Since loosing our beautiful boy we felt obligated to share our story to empower people with knowledge and hopefully prevent them from losing someone they love.'

A Sydney woman shed more than 70 kilos in just 15 months after deciding to turn her life around. Anastasia Chiarello gained weight when she became too comfortable in her relationship. At her heaviest (left and middle) she weighed 165 kilos. Now weighing 92 kilos (right), Ms Chiarello is just 10 kilos away from achieving her goal of shedding half her body weight. She told Daily Mail Australia: 'You have to really want it and have to be willing to make these changes permanently.'

Three cows whose plight made international headlines after they became stranded on a tiny grass island following a dead New Zealand earthquake have been rescued. The animals were pictured perched atop a minuscule piece of land following the 7.8 magnitude quake which has so far claimed the lives of two people. On Wednesday it was revealed that the bovines had been rescued after farmers dug a trail with pick axes and shovels and led them down the side of the newly-formed mountain.

It has been almost 70 years since a rare supermoon lit up the dark night skies like it did on Monday but across Australia and Asia it created some memorable images. One of the most spectacular was when crowds looked on as the supermoon rose behind the Fremantle War Memorial at Monument Hill in Western Australia (top left). Brisbane had a stunning view of the supermoon hovering at dusk (top right) and it could be seen floating over the Opera House in Sydney (bottom left). While in Asia their were spectacular views in China (bottom right).

Her husband's younger lover, Bonnie Contreras, (left with Bill) is accused of taunting Hall with thousands of messages - including videos of them having sex - but insists she is 'not a bad person'. In an emotional interview from behind bars, which is set to air on Crime Watch Daily with Chris Hansen on Tuesday night, Hall said she still loves her slain husband.

Video has emerged showing Fremantle Dockers player Michael Johnson (inset) walking around a kebab shop with his pants around his ankles (left and right) at the weekend. The man who filmed the incident claims Johnson turned around and punched him in the face when he realised he was being recorded.

Two police officers who responded to a noise complaint from a wedding in Port Kennedy, Western Australia, ended up joining in the party and posing with the bride. Stacey and Stuart Street (left) were married on Saturday night and celebrated in their backyard. Police were called to the house at 10pm after a noise complaint from a neighbour but instead of shutting the party down they joined in and posed in a photobooth with the bride (right).

Make up artist Anar Agakishiev, from Georgia, is known for his incredible make up transformations. Since rising to fame earlier this year, he has shared even more jaw-dropping looks - most of them on clients in their 60s and 70s. In them, he is seen using make up to banish their wrinkles and dark circles and using hair extensions and fake eyelashes to accentuate their best features. 'He's a very ambitious person and always looking for a challenge,' Mr Agakishiev's manager, Konul Seyidova, said. 'He wants to make them look at least 10 years younger.'

Brisbane girl Violet Box, 7 (left and bottom right), was diagnosed with neuroblastoma last year. Little Violet had been sick for months with gastro, fevers and body aches before doctors found the cause. By then the cancer had spread from an 8 centimetre tumour in her left adrenal gland to her bones. The cancer is one that is hard to detect, and by sharing her story Violet's mother Colleen (pictured top right with her family) hopes to raise further awareness.

President Barack Obama delivered a veiled rebuke to Hillary Clinton today for spending the summer and much of autumn on her laurels as Donald Trump barnstormed the nation. The two-time winner said he was victorious in Iowa, a mostly white state, 'not because of the demographics' but because he spent 87 days going to 'every small town, fair, fish fry and VFW'. Democrats who are 'discouraged' by last Tuesday's election, Obama said, should remember that 'things change pretty rapidly.' 'But they don't change inevitably. They change because you work for it,' he said.

A couple has revealed the gender of their baby in a rather unusual way. The pair gathered family and friends to watch a car, their own single turbo Toyota Supra, perform a burnout. As the car's engine revved the wheels emitted a cloud of soft pink smoke from special tyres which had been shipped from Brisbane, Australia, revealing the couple is expecting a baby girl.

A federal judge has ordered that Brendan Dassey - whose case was featured in the Netflix documentary Making a Murderer (inset) - be released from prison immediately. The Wisconsin man (pictured left) was serving a life sentence for the 2005 murder of Teresa Halbach. In August a judge ruled that police tricked him into confessing to killing her, tricking the then 16-year-old with a low IQ into believing he would not face any consequences for confessing the crime. And he is expected to be released today after the further ruling, his lawyer said. The federal judge has ordered Dassey not to have contact with Halbach's family or with his uncle Steven Avery (right) who was also convicted of the murder and remains in jail.

Australian beauty vlogger, Karima McKimmie (pictured), has become the latest person to get on board with shaving her face. The 26-year-old from Sydney swears by the benefits, and says face shaving leaves your skin 'luminous' and allows foundation to glide on perfectly.

The mother-to-be wore an elegant red dress and the future father picked jeans and a shirt. The Golden Gate bridge, visible in the background, completed the picture perfectly. But the frame reveals a nude sunbather taking a swim just a few yards away from the couple, giving another atmosphere to the shoot altogether. The northern part of Baker Beach is a nude beach, so it's not entirely surprising that someone would have wandered into the water without a bathing suit.

WARNING: DISTURBING CONTENT A horrific video showing a group of teens savagely beating up a 15-year-old girl has recently emerged online, racking up millions of views in just a couple of days. The footage, thought to have been filmed by one of the perpetrators and posted to Facebook, showed four youths taking turns to slap their victim near a shopping centre in Vienna until she was spitting blood. There's speculation that the girl was beaten for removing a headscarf but the cause is yet to be confirmed by Austrian police, who are investigating the incident.

The original video (inset) sees a young man hanging out with his friends, who persuade him to demonstrate how he can spin a pillow on his finger like a basketball.

It is one of the creepiest malls in America with its eerie lighting, shattered ceilings and deserted shop fronts. But these apocalyptic images captured by photographer Seph Lawless could possibly be the final look inside Missouri's Metro North Mall in Kansas City. The abandoned shopping mall is now just weeks away from being demolished. It was built back in 1976 and operated for almost 40 years before closing its doors two years ago.

Incredible video footage from Raqqa shows an Islamic State suicide vehicle being blown up by French forces after a missile launched by the allied forces fighters fails to hit its target. The video shows a suicide truck heading toward the allied forces in the desert, with a guided missile tracking it. But it misses its target. Thankfully, French forces are on hand to send in a back up and the vehicle is blown up with the explosion.

An elderly man unhappy with the Schoolies festival on Queensland's Gold Coast interrupted a press conference with boss Mark Reaburn, yelling at him to 'kick these b****y kids off our beach!' Unhappy that part of Surfer's Paradise was being fenced off for the three-week extravaganza of partying, the man adds: 'Tell your staff to p*** off with the fence.' While Mr Reaburn does initially address the man, he eventually ignoring him as he continues shouting in the background.

A viral video shows a young Latina woman in a short blue dress entertaining a crowd on a runway, before struggling to walk in a pair of sky-high heels. She topples over multiple times as she walks, eventually rushing off the stage in embarrassment.

Shocking footage has emerged of a teenage girl clinging to a speeding train carriage in her underwear. The troubling video, shot in Melbourne, shows the scantily-clad girl hanging onto the back of a Metro train as she passes her friends, who are filming from next to the tracks. She is then seen passing another camera, this time crouching down as she clings to the train in just a bra and underwear. The video is latest in a string of dangerous stunts by a group calling themselves the Sky High Idiots, who record themselves 'train surfing'.

The IT worker told Daily Mail Australia there has been an outpouring of offers but nobody has yet to agree to pay the $150 pricetag for the hauntingly lifelike dummy.

Last weekend, 11 million of us sat in front of our TVs and witnessed some of the most spectacular - and violent - encounters between wild creatures ever broadcast. We squirmed as a baby lizard fell victim to a writhing mass of racer snakes, its brief life ending only a few seconds after it had hatched.

Officers in Victoria were filmed being led on a bizarre chase around a roundabout while attempting to catch a van driver who began circling the junction, presumably as a joke. Footage shows police circling the roundabout at least four times, even turning their siren off as the pursuit slows to a snail's pace. Two other drivers even manage to use the junction while the chase continues. Eventually the van speeds away with the police following behind.

A video released last week shows athletes from Texas A&M; University in College Station holding completely still as if frozen in time at the gym, hanging from a bar by the toes (left) or posing on the beam. The video begins with an athlete frozen mid-motion as if she's about to hop on the vault, arms flexed. Things escalate to another level when the next frames reveal an athlete holding on to the rings (right) or striking a pose on the parallel bars. One of them (centers) looks as if she just fell in the tumbling pit and remains buried with only her legs visible.
