A raucous time: After Evening Standard Theatre Awards had wrapped up, the guests let their hair down in a suitable manner - with Dita Von Teese and Christian Louboutin leading the way

Burlesque extraordinaire Dita, 44, was in lively spirits following the bash, as was her friend Christian Louboutin, 53.

Dita - who was famously married to Marilyn Manson - screamed with delight, as the legendary shoe deisgner picked her up and carried her around the dance-floor on his back.

Never one to loose her cool, the businesswoman and actress didn't let a single hair slip out of place as she was flung around the dancefloor by the fashion legend.

But the fun-loving duo weren't the only ones letting their hair down, as Dominic Cooper and his The Libertine co-star Olivia Lovibond also got in on the act.

Hem-raising fun: The likes of Dominic Cooper and Ophelia Lovibond (pictured) joined Dita and Christian in getting the after-party started in a suitably wild way at London's Old Vic Theatre

The 38-year-old Preacher star and the Elementary star, 30, laughed and giggled as they swigged their drinks and got up onto their feet.

Dominic seemed particularly fascinated with his co-star's colourful dress, and brought a section of its flowing trail up to eye height.

Olivia took his hijinks in her stride and merely shrugged off his playful ribbing about her gown.

Fashionable friends: Burlesque extraordinaire Dita, 44, was in lively spirits following the bash, as was her friend Christian Louboutin, 53

Smiles all round: Dita and Christian were in high spirits, and the friend smiled as they waltzed around the room

Boys will be boys: Ophelia seemed to take her co-star Dominic's hijinks in her stride, laughing and smiling as he ribbed her over her flowing gown

Other guests getting into the swing of things at the bash included the Evening Standard's owner Evgeny Lebedev, Dame Shirley Bassey and Sir Elton John.

The night had started off in a suitably elegant manner, with Victoria's Secret favourite Lily Donaldson leading the red carpet arrivals.

The 29-year-old beauty wowed as she walked the red carpet at the Old Vic Theatre at the 62nd Awards ceremony in a sexy off-the-shoulder Burberry black dress, which featured a daring, thigh-skimming slit.

Do it like Dita in a Ralph & Russo velvet plunge dress

Dita Von Teese was looking glamorous as she partied at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards recently.

The model and burlesque dancer chose a navy Ralph & Russo dress for the occasion, matching it with a pair of silver Louboutins.

The dress was as unique and stylish as she is, featuring a low plunge neckline and gold pom-pom-like dots all over the skirt. Although the dress can’t be bought online, check out the A/W 15/16 collection by clicking right.

Velvet can be seen everywhere at the moment, and is the perfect material for colder months, adding a hint of luxuriousness to any outfit.
