Lady Gaga - whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta - opted to wear a bright shade of lipstick to complete her look.
It's been an emotional week for the singer given she is a huge Hillary Clinton supporter.
However, it looks as though she is trying to come out of it stronger.
The iconic pop star wrote an essay for Harper’s Bazaar as she graces the cover of the January issue.

The powerful and emotional essay was a focus on the strength of women and female empowerment.
She wrote about what it means to be a woman in the modern world, and how her female forbears influenced her.
'Being a lady today means being a fighter,' she said.
'It means being a survivor. It means letting yourself be vulnerable and acknowledging your shame or that you’re sad or you’re angry. It takes great strength to do that.'
The singer also acknowledged her somewhat 'rebellious' behaviour: 'my rebelliousness, if you want to call it that, is something that was passed along to me by a long line of tough people—and tough women—in my family.

My mother and my grandmothers are without a doubt the most powerful female forces in my life.'
Gaga went on to talk about how much the strong females in her life have influenced her: 'I look at my mother [...] and I look at my grandmothers and what they've been through—the three of them are like a trifecta of strength.'
One woman whose legacy the singer has long carried is the paternal aunt she is named after, Joanne Stefani Germanotta.
Gaga revealed in the essay that her aunt was a survivor of sexual assault, but died of lupus in 1974, 12 years before she was born.
Best book: The singer shared an Instagram snap on Tuesday promoting a family cookbook
