Italy vs Canada Rugby World Cup 2015 team news, fixture kick-off time and more

Italy take on Canada in a Pool D clash at Elland Road on Saturday, keen to avoid their third consecutive defeat in Rugby World Cups. 

The Azzurri fell to a 32-10 defeat by France in their previous game, while Canada lost 50-7 to Ireland.

TEAM NEWS 

Italy have dropped prop Martin Castrogiovanni as one of four changes to their side. The 33-year-old, who plays his club rugby with Racing Metro in France, sees his spot expended for Wasps' Lorenzo Cittadini. 

Michele Rizzo comes into the team for Matias Aguero and centres Gonzalo Garcia and Tommaso Benvenuti come in to cover the injured Andrea Masi and Michele Campagnaro.

Canada welcome back captain Tyler Ardon, who missed the defeat by Ireland.

Should Italy lose against Canada, it would be their third consecutive World Cup defeat and mark their worst run of form at the tournament since losing four on the bounce between 1999 and 2003.

Italy conceded 19 penalties in their match against France, while Canada gave away just eight against Ireland.
