Katy Perry was upset that Hillary Clinton did not win the US Presidential election and then, days later, she had to cancel a gig after a 'family emergency.'

But the 32-year-old Rise singer looked to be doing just fine on Tuesday when she helped her music label Capitol Records receive a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

The Santa Barbara native looked slender in a monochrome jumpsuit as she flashed a peace sign.

In his new book Superficial: More Adventures From the Andy Cohen Diaries he claims that he witnessed Taylor throw shade at her supposed nemesis Katy at the 2016 Met Gala after party.

He said he approached Taylor at the bar: 'Why I felt I needed to get involved I will never know (maybe I was auditioning for her squad?), but I innocently said exactly the wrong thing to her.'

The squad: (L-R) Steve, Katy and Sir Lucian Grainge, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Universal Music Group

Cheers: The trio were beaming as they held up their star and held hands with one another

He then said: 'Your friend Katy is sitting in the corner and there's plenty of room around her.'

He wrote, 'I kind of gasped, realizing she was in the most famous feud of all the feuds.'

He said he was 'completely mortified' that his joke brought up the longtime feud, saying that he 'was just sticking my nose where it didn't belong.'
