When we think of low-maintenance beauty, Gwyneth Paltrow does not immediately come to mind. She's vocal about getting over-the-top treatments like apitherapy (where one gets stung by bees in order to reduce inflammation) and vaginal steaming, and it's been reported that her beauty-related habits cost her a staggering $21,000 per month.
But that doesn't mean Gwyneth is spending hours in front of the mirror every day - she's way too busy for that. In a new video on Vogue.com, the 44-year-old demonstrated that she can get ready in a matter of mere minutes if need be.
Using just a handful of products (including a few from her own Goop by Juice Beauty line), she walks viewers through her 'end of office day into evening' routine.
Read on below for three tips and tidbits we picked up along the way, including how she achieves glowy skin in a flash and the empowering reason she doesn't always wear foundation.

Sometimes the directions on the back of the package are more like guidelines than rules.
Though her own brand's Exfoliating Instant Facial is recommended for use just two to three times per week, Gwyneth likes to leave it on for one minute every day. 'That's my secret for young, fresh-looking skin', she says.
Of course, because exfoliating products can be irritating, using one so frequently might not be for you. If you experience redness or dryness, it's likely a sign to scale back.
It's also important to follow up a scrub with a hydrating product. Gwyneth loves Vintners Daughter Active Botanical Serum, which she massages into her skin to help boost circulation for an even more luminous complexion.
Skin is in: In the video, the actress-cum-beauty entrepreneur reveals that she exfoliates her skin daily to keep her complexion youthful and that she likes to show off her freckles
Color her impressed: Gwyneth is a fan of Kosas, a California-based cosmetics brand that makes lipstick that is both non-toxic and incredibly pigmented
Not all spots are meant to be covered up.
Gwyneth uses Juice Beauty Phyto-Pigments Perfecting Concealer under her eyes and to camouflage redness on her chin, but often skips the foundation. 'I believe in freckles,' she says in the video.
Non-toxic make-up has come a long way.
You don't have to sacrifice color pay-off and staying power to go natural anymore. As she puts the finishing touches on her look, Gwyneth sings the praises of Juice Beauty Phyto-Pigments Ultra-Natural Mascara ('This fantastic mascara is a clean mascara which works beautifully - which is really hard to do.') and Kosas Weightless Lip Color ('So much pigment.').
