Night out: A testing few days were brushed to one side as Laura Whitmore made a cheerful appearance at the annual launch of seasonal theme park Winter Wonderland in London's Hyde Park on Thursday evening

The willowy star added to her look with simple black ankle boots, while a red sweater – partially evident between her lapels – rounded things off.

Adding a splash of colour to an otherwise subdued ensemble, Laura opted for colourful red winter gloves, while her liberal use of matching lipstick added an extra hint of vibrancy.

The eliminated Strictly Come Dancing competitor enhanced her naturally pretty features with deft touches of mascara and immaculately applied foundation.

Keeping her blonde locks conventionally styled with a simple centre parting, Laura proved to be an eye-catching sight as she browsed theme park’s range of rides and seasonal stalls.

Her latest night out comes following allegations of a frosty relationship with her Strictly dance partner Giovanni Pernice, 26.

In an explosive insight into their working relationship, a source told MailOnline that Laura sent abusive text messages to the Italian dancer in which she undermined his ballroom skills.

A spokesperson for the Irish star has since told MailOnline: 'Laura did not send abusive texts and is very hurt by these accusations.'

But a source close to Giovanni said: Laura was a piece of work, she really was. She made Giovanni’s life hard.

'She was a difficult, cold fish – she was a bully to Giovanni and he behaved like a total gent,' the insider claimed.

Laura sent him loads of texts basically saying he was no good and was not doing anything for her and abusing him.

The producers knew how difficult Laura was. Giovanni is just relieved it’s all over. There is no love lost between them!’

Laura and Giovanni left in Week 7 of the competition after a bottom two dance-off against Ore Oduba, who will compete in the coveted Blackpool stage of the ballroom show next week.

Laura is not a very good dancer,' the source continued. 'She was only good when she was in hold so doing the waltz or the quickstep but when she was dancing out of hold, for example the cha-cha-cha you could see she wasn’t very good.'
