The mane attraction: Little Mix star Jesy Nelson showcases her lionesque locks on date night with dancer beau Jordan Banjo

Jesy Nelson's mane appears to have grown in tandem with her burgeoning success with group Little Mix.

The Essex girl's mane is clearly her pride and glory, as the singer's glossy tumbling locks were shinier than ever as she was seen out in London on Wednesday night with her boyfriend, Diversity dancer Jordan Banjo.

Jesy, 21, clearly lives by the mantra - the bigger the hair the closer to heaven - as her locks appear to have grown even bigger in volume,covering her shoulders and her chest area.

Since winning The X Factor last year, Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson has changed her hair colour three times, and experimented with blonde, red and now dark brown locks.

And it's not just her hair Jesy likes to change up, as she proved by livening up her casual outfit with a slick of bright red lipstick as she headed out on a date with her Diversity boyfriend Jordan Banjo.

The 21-year-old singer left her long hair loose in tumbling curls around her shoulders as Jordan took the wheel to drive the pair to their London destination.

While Jesy's whole outfit could not be seen, it appeared that the Wings singer was wearing a ribbed black jacket and a pair of denim shorts.

Meanwhile Jordan, 19, went for an equally casual approach for the night out, wearing jeans, a hooded sweatshirt and a backwards baseball cap.

Jesy and Jordan, who have been friends since they were children, started dating in March and their relationship appears to have gone from strength to strength.

Speaking recently about their relationship, Jesy said: 'He’s like my best friend and takes me as I am. He’s a boy version of me!

'We’ve known each other since I was 10 – I used to dance with Diversity before they were called that. He’s my first love.'

And Jesy is also hoping Jordan will be able to give her some tips on the best dance moves ahead of Little Mix's debut headlining tour next year.

She said: 'Jordan has taught me a few moves. He’s a great dancer obviously so hopefully his skills will rub off on me.'

Little Mix have been busy in the past few weeks shooting the video for their next single DNA, and the girls have been keeping their fans updated on their progress via their Twitter page.

Leigh-Anne Pinnocl tweeted yesterday: 'Omgosh what an amazing day it's been! I actually can't wait for this video to come out! Really hope y'all mixers like it! :D x Leigh.'
