As Susan reads the book, she is forced her to re-examine her past and confront some dark truths.

The talented actress revealed that even she can't watch some of the scenes she's in: 'Normally I end a movie and I miss everybody and want to stay on forever. This I was like "See you later!" '

She went on to say that the content of the story was a little too heavy for her: 'It was just so emotionally draining to do that kind of material and to have it look real, you really have to commit.

'There's a physical element. And this movie's really about emotional violence and not physical violence,' she continued.

The petite beauty only had kind words for the fashion guru director: 'Tom Ford's amazing. He is just such a great guy, I knew him as a fashion designer but to work with him one on one as a filmmaker, he has that incredible eye for detail.'

She also revealed that he's a pretty down to earth guy: 'He's approachable even though he's so dapper and clever and he seems like... I don't know he's just a really great guy. I think he's a brilliant director.'
