Hilary Swank appeared to have had a rather enjoyable Wednesday indeed. 

The 42-year-old was spotted in Manhattan having a pot of tea and a stroll with a gorgeous gentleman who put an arm about her as they walked.

The Oscar winner is currently single, having severed her engagement to Ruben Torres in June.

The Academy Award-winner had pulled on a tight white top that would've bared a bit of midriff had she not been wearing another, longer white top underneath it.

A black jumper was slung about her neck, its sleeves tied loosely. She matched it with tight leather trousers that emphasised her toned legs andwere attached to a pair of black leather high-heeled boots. 

Minimising on makeup, the Million Dollar Baby star had pulled her dark brown hair severely back into a ponytail.

Meanwhile, her companion for the afternoon had pulled on a stylish charcoal leather jacket with cuffs that spilt over his hands. 

A faded blue T-shirt complemented a pair of dark blue jeans and clashed against his black and white trainers. 

He cut a distinguished figure, traces of grey slithering into his well-grown stubble and his hair casually groomed.

As they walked the street, his left arm was consistently flung about her shoulder, and she held his left hand with hers.

They seemed as though they were having a lovely time at tea as well, she smiling as she looked at her phone.

At one point, he appeared to be laughing wholeheartedly as she gestured, her face looking as though she were describing something exasperating.

It was People who revealed over the summer that she'd split from the erstwhile professional tennis player. 

They'd been affianced since March and had courted for roughly a year before leaping into that level of commitment.

As the magazine noted, however, her engagement ring had been missing from her finger when she swung by the 2016 French Open, and around that time she'd excised her engagement announcements from social media. 

She's also been married once: her ten-year legal union with Chad Lowe, brother of Rob, was officially dissolved in 2007.
