'We’ll see what happens, it would be fun!' Paris Hilton is 'thinking about' bringing back The Simple Life with Nicole Richie

The Simple Life was nothing short of iconic television, and Paris Hilton has hinted that she might be bringing the reality TV show back.

The American socialite spoke to News.com.au about the program - co-starring her friend Nicole Richie - and her hopes of rebooting it.

'I’ve actually been getting a lot of calls about that,' Paris, 35, revealed.

'I’m thinking about it. I’ve been offered a tonne of other reality shows as well that I’ve turned down.

'But The Simple Life was just such a big part of my life and so iconic... we’ll see what happens. It would be fun.' 

The show was originally produced by Fox from 2003 to 2005, before moving to E! from 2006 to 2007. It ran for five seasons.

The series followed work-shy rich girls Paris and Nicole as they undertook manual jobs in across America.

From cleaning rooms to serving meals in fast-food restaurants, their terrible work ethic and party antics were TV ratings gold.

The format was the basis for several unofficial 'remakes', including Cow Belles and Material Girls.

While Paris and Nicole aren't quite BFFs any more, the heiress has been seen hanging with her younger sister Sofia Richie.

So it is possible the two have would pick up where they left things off.

Paris has starred in numerous reality shows since The Simple Life, including THREE programs about finding a new best friend.

She is  currently in Sydney promoting her new fragrance Gold Rush.
