Revealed: New Saved By The Bell tell-all claims Tiffani-Amber Thiessen romanced both Mario Lopez and Mark-Paul Gosselaar

The show has not been on the air since 1993, but still there is enormous interest in what went on with the cast of the TV series Saved By The Bell.

Now fans can find some juicy nuggets of information in the new tell-all book that RadarOnline has had a sneak peek look at.

The most shocking news is that Tiffani-Amber Thiessen (who played Kelly Kapowski) had a relationship with her co-star Mario Lopez (who played AC Slater), which ended abruptly when she caught him cheating with an extra.

Love triangle: A new tell-all book claims Tiffani-Amber Thiessen romanced both Mario Lopez and Mark-Paul Gosselaar on the hit TV series Saved By The Bell

Sparks! 'They made it very clear that they were now in a relationship — holding hands, being cutesy, etc,' wrote author Peter Engel of Tiffani and Mario, pictured

It was also added that she had a thing with Mark-Paul Gosselaar (who played Zac Morris).

Executive producer Peter Engel said she first was with Mark-Paul then Lopez in 1991.

'They made it very clear that they were now in a relationship — holding hands, being cutesy, etc,' he wrote.

Steamy: On the show, Tiffani was romantic with Mark-Paul

The cast: (l-r) Lark Voorhies as Lisa Turtle, Ed Alonzo as Max, Thiessen as Kelly Kapowski, Gosselaar as Zack Morris, Dennis Haskins as Mr. Richard Belding, Elizabeth Berkley as Jessie Myrtle Spano, Dustin Diamond as Screech Powers, Lopez as AC Slater

The brunette beauty (who was also on Beverly Hills, 90210 and now stars on Dinner at Tiffani's) then discovered Mario making out with an extra during a live taping.

'He was in his dressing room, making out with an extra, and Tiffani came in, catching him red-handed,' Engel said.

'She was wearing his letter jacket and, in a rage, ripped it off and threw it at him. After that, she ran out.'

A cult following: The TV show was on the air for almost four years

Close bond: Gosselaar, Diamond and Lopez on set

Engel also admitted that 10 years before the show aired, he was a drug addict.

But then got clean and never went back to drugs.

'Monday through Friday, I would wake up and smoke two joints, pop speed to get through work, snort a gram of cocaine, and take a handful of Quaaludes to fall asleep,' he revealed.

Still stunning: Tiffani is now 42 and married to Brady Smith with whom she has two children: Harper and Holt. Here she is seen on November 10 in Hollywood

He's taken: Lopez, who works for Extra, is now married to Courtney Mazza. Here they are seen on November 10 in LA

The writer also touched on SBTB star Elizabeth Berkley.

She played star student Jessie Spano who had a meltdown over caffeine pills in an episode that aired in 1990.

Cleaned up: An episode where Elizabeth Berkley's character was hooked on caffeine pills was supposed to be about speed

The scene was supposed to be much darker and about speed, not caffeine pills, but NBC bosses did not like theamphetamine angle.

So it had to be toned down.

'When I originally wrote the episode with Tom Tenowich, Jessie was hooked on speed, not caffeine pills.

'But Standards and Practices, the censorial department at NBC, vetoed it, saying speed was too serious for Saturday mornings.'

That was hard for Engel to take.

'We kept the episode virtually the same, but swapped out the speed,' he said.

'I wasn't pleased about it, after all, the average caffeine pill, was the equivalent of a cup of coffee, so we might as well have had Jessie get addicted to Earl Grey, or breaking into The Max to snort coffee grounds. But hey, we had to start somewhere.'

High school drama: The series aired on NBC and was one of their biggest hits in the early 90s
